Heavily influenced by his father who owned a music store, Talfelt began playing guitar at the age of 7 years. Discovering the world of musical instruments and with early support and help by his brother he started to jam around using a variety of different hardware and soon found himself being attracted to the realms of electronic music. Together and as 'Team Raw-Cut' they brought out their first EP shortly after.

Inspired by 90's Old School Rap and the skating culture one of his turning points was when he got his hands on an Akai MPC for the first time. Fascinated by the complexity and the possibilities of drum programming he learned quickly and began to elaborate his workflow and production style even more. With an almost fully analog studio setup, the project 'Talfelt' started back in 2017 as symbiosis of both, his musical approach as well as his well-routined and structured workflow resulting in an outstanding creative output with passion, care, and style.

While focussing on uplifting, diverse, and atmospheric Electronic & Techno he also works under his second alias 'Dioxid' which approaches more functional, tool-ish, and propelling styles. With his debut on Instinkt Lab followed by releases on Entourage Concept, Coded Platform, and Vitus' Curse the journey is only at the beginning with loads of projects waiting in the wings. As a self-taught electronic music producer, I've been an attentive listener from my childhood, exploring genres ranging from Old Persian Pop and folk music to Trance, Nu Metal, and Hard Rock. While maintaining a strong musical connection with Hip Hop music in both Iran and the United States, my journey took an intriguing turn when I encountered a 4x4 beat at a higher tempo.
 
Introduced to Electronic music at the age of 18 while preparing to pursue a bachelor's degree in cinema, I underwent a transformative shift in my musical preferences. Transitioning from rap to genres like house, techno, and ketapop, I started crafting simple ideas and delving into various facets of electronic music. Exploring different genres, sound design, and, most importantly, the ability to evoke diverse and unique emotions without relying heavily on words became a significant focus in my creative journey.

Currently I’m focusing on creating music for the dance floor, but on my own terms, which I define it somewhere between Techno & House music, Power and hypnotism from the Techno, Groove and soul from the House. I produce my music entirely without hardware.
