 AkaSha started DJing when she was 16 years old. Back then she was part of Narkotek, an underground Hard Tekno sound system based in France. With her partners in crime, Guigoo, Seno, Weaser, Kefran and other crew members, they organized rave parties in France from 1999 to 2004. Narkotek's reputation grew quickly to become one of the most famous Hard Tekno sound system in France. However, a Gypsy at heart, AkaSha decided to leave her MK2 and vinyls behind in 2004 to travel the world. After a long absence, AkaSha came back behind the decks in 2012 but this time blasting tunes of a totally different kind. Since her comeback, she played in festivals all around the globe including Boom, Universo Paralello, Modem, Psy-Fi, Tribal Gathering, Cosmic Convergence and many more... Her travels led her to discover a plethora of astonishing musical styles that she now thrives to export wherever she goes. A real digger, AkaSha's tastes are beyond eclectic and she always knows how to surprise her audience with fresh and original tunes. Ranging from pure electronic genres such as progressive trance, psytrance, electro, house, glitch and Drum & Bass to more melodic styles like world fusion, nu-cumbia, electro-swing, temple step and gypsy beats, her sets are sure to make your ass move and your soul groove!

This is All Eyes West from Chicago, IL. Since forming in mid 2010, they have been winning over crowds by destroying stages across the US and Europe. The band toured tirelessly in support of their smashing debut record(Self-titled - Jump Start Records 2011), sharing stages with the likes of Bob Mould, The Joy Formidable, Alkaline Trio, Samiam, Seaweed, Knapsack, OFF!, Rival Schools, Braid, Local H, Amusement Parks on Fire, Planes Mistaken For Stars, and many more. 

The bands sound has been compared to the likes of everyone from Seaweed & Husker Du to Nada Surf & Sunny Day Real Estate. Two split 7”s (one on SideOneDummy Records and another on Jump Start) were released throughout 2012. The band supported these releases by continuing to put more miles on the van. AEW became known for their loud and energetic live shows, where they often blew through their set without stopping, save for a quick "Thank You" before the last song. 

In late 2013, the band found themselves with J. Robbins at his Magpie Cage studio in Baltimore for the recording of the sophomore effort. The album, ‘DOOMER’, features twelve tracks that highlight the band’s raw but melodic sound and captures the intensity of their live shows. Onboard for drum duty was Tucker Rule (Thursday, I Hate Our Freedom, Get Involved).

The band continued to play around the states while awaiting a delayed release of the album. Ronnie DiCola (The Arrivals) stepped in to be the full time drummer in 2014. 'DOOMER' was finally released in February 2015 and was well received by fans both old & new. Much of 2015 was spent touring behind the album, including a runs with Local H & Great Apes.

AEW are currently playing shows and preparing to enter the studio for a new album.
