To create this song was a very important process for me, as the track helped me cope with some heartbreaking news in my family — a young girl from my stepmother’s family, who was about to turn 18, took her own life. She had been suffering in silence for years. Such pain, such confusion, such deep sadness. Through this track, I tried to put into music what I was feeling in the midst of this tragedy. Before she passed, she had written a prayer. I hope this piece of music accompanies her, and that she finds peace wherever she is now.

In Memory of Xu Han

My music career began at the age of 6 when I received a guitar from my parents. I learned two chords and formed my first band. Our equipment was a puppet piano, two washing drums and a guitar. Between the ages of 12 and 15 I played in several bands with friends. Big role models were Jimi Hendrix, Doors, Janis Joplin, Alwin Lee etc. I was mainly influenced by Krautrock bans like Can, Groschnitt and Eloy. In the meantime I was able to improvise a few barre chords, mainly using the blues scale. But practicing was never my thing. So I automatically only progressed a step further when I liked a new riff. Music has always been an integral part of my work with children and people with disabilities. In 1990 I founded the band “Kroklowafzi” with friends, and later I played in the “Karl Grass Companie” purely for the joy of music, without any professional ambitions (audio samples are available on YouTube on my SoundCloud channel). During this time I had the opportunity to record my music in multiple tracks for the first time. Everything was still very amateurish and chaotic. After a divorce, I ended up on the streets and went into a psychotic episode. I now had 6 children to support but couldn't work. During this time, my brother gave me a music program that I could use to remaster my recordings from the last few years.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).
