Another tune from a few years ago. I wish it had no resonance with current events but sadly it seems that ignorance, fear, and hate have grown and been given license even more so than when it was originally written.

Apologies to friends who've heard this one already.

It is with great pleasure and happiness that we can present, after a very long time, a new collaboration with my dear friend Hilario and me. Struggling and fighting against many setbacks  which held him from making music, now Hilario found back the power to give it all, resulting in an old school rocker on the instrument he controls so well.

We hope you will enjoy this track the same as we did making this piece which Hilario initiated from an one take improvisation, handling the keys and knobs as like he never has been away.

       This song I wrote back in 2011 and I wanted a swampy, funky, sexy, soulful, sound to it, just a slow mellow vibe to groove to in a slow dance or something. I was going for that Barry White or Marvin Gaye kind of vibe. I worked hard on the lyrics and tried to capture that first date/first dance kind of chemistry! A little spark in the dark, if you will! Charlie did a great job singing it. I had done a video for it early on but it just wasn't very well done so I remixed the song and produced a new video for it about a weeks ago. I think it sounds and looks way better now. Let me know what you think? Watch the video for a little extra excitation!😂

This song is intended for adults to enjoy, no silly love song here!😂 I was trying to write a "Strangers In The Night" type of song with a funky beat. Nothing personal and no back story for this one, just some Funky Fun for all the Dirty Dancers out there!😂 Remember you can't spell Funky without a little Fun! Charlie also played some very groovy harmonica on it. I hope everybody likes it because sometimes between heartbeats love fades away! 😍 Thanks again and take care!🙏😎✌🏼

This work is also a collaboration with Marco Turrini following the previous work. We tried what happens if I play "MEMORIES OF THE PAST" which is one of Marco's masterpieces together with him.How I would add my interpretation to this work while making full use of Pink Floyd's flavor and Marco's honed sensibilities, that was my problem.A big fan of Pink Floyd can not defile the honor of Pink Floyd.  :)
I sincerely thank Marco Turrini again. Also, I would like to confess that I'd like to express my respects to the many musicians who gave me a lot of musical influences, involved in this work.
And thank you for listening to this work from the bottom of my heart.

When I listened to the sound source of Marco's "MEMORIES OF THE PAST ... TRIBUTE", the first thing I came up with was  "Breathe" by Pink Floyd. It is one song in the album "THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON". Then, on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" (included in  "Wish You Were Here ")A famous performance came back in my mind. This may be better known.
Both are masterpieces. There are a lot of name performances left. I will introduce it below.
By listening to that songs again, why I remembered that songs, I could find something in common between them, and at the same time you will be noticing something completely different.
What Marco drew for this song is Marco's "Pink Floyd", not Pink Floyd itself. Indeed, I feel an exceptional talent to him. For example,I'd like you to check the chord progression of the second part of this song. Mr.Marco treats it so that it is not cleverly noticed immediately,You will notice that the essence of a famous song nicely included. There should be many people who understood by just listening.Therefore, the title of this song is "MEMORIES OF THE PAST ... TRIBUTE", I do not ask Marco, I imagine arbitrarily and enjoying it. :)

My arrangement of Van Morrison's song is flat out, hard-core, 4 nylon stringed, at times bongo sounding, UKULELE MAYHEM and CARNAGE - lol

The original version is close to my favourite song. In fact I think I rotate my favourite songs and this has been my ultimate fave at many points in time...written in 1963 by Van Morrison and recorded by his band, Them in 1964. It was the B-side song for the single, Baby, Please Don't Go. I LOVE that song too.

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
