Luxar is Tom Oke, a producer & DJ based in Brixton, London.  After a childhood obsession with Michael Jackson, his first introduction to Dance music came in 1987 with 'Pump Up The Volume' by M/A/R/R/S.  Even at the age of 7 he was fascinated by this cut-up audio collage, piecing together snippets of tracks on his cassette recorder.  DJing in clubs and bars throughout the UK, he became involved in the mashup movement of the early-mid 2000s.  Frequenting the legendary 'Bastard' night in London's West End, he went on to become one of the Lead Producers on the DJ Hero videogames, creating many levels for the games and working with some of the biggest names in the industry.  Since then he has produced many tracks and remixes, including releases on the Juicy label, one of which was remixed by the amazing Sweater Beats.  His influences range from 80s Disco/Boogie, Pop/Dance crossover hits of the late 80s, Euro Dance, Synthwave and Nu Disco.  His tracks offer a modern take on the sounds of the past - an album is in the works for 2014.

This Jackson 5 Remix is a homage to the amazing song and dance of Michael Jackson.
