“This song is very special to me. I wrote it as a middle finger up to the judgmental stares of passers-by who belittle queerness, interracial love and gender identity.” 
Cecilia’s lyrics capture the  process of young love whilst exposing the difficulties faced by interracial and LGBTQ+  couples from the judgemental stares of passers-by. The single conveys the beauty in  overcoming such challenges. 
Former school friend Ollie Morley’s production evokes both nostalgic 90’s influences and the  cultural fusion of both artists’ upbringing in West London.
