Axefield's music is inspired by hollow halls and large brutalist buildings that make us feel so small. Transpersonal World guides your meditation making you feel like you’re standing in the hall of a massive industrial cathedral. Ancient Memories evokes exactly that as images from the past run through your veins. Do we feel a certain way? The synth patterns resemble steel pipes whereas the bassline sounds like large concrete slabs swiping you off your feet.

˚Born in London and based in Amsterdam, Axefield creates an outspoken and immersive blend of bass music and electronica, balancing high doses of playfulness and deep emotion. Inspired by architecture and cinema, he builds absorbing, audio-visual worlds around his productions, live performances, and DJ sets. His work is soaked with obsessive use of the human voice as an instrument blurring the lines between organic and electronic expression. Through his labels, Who’s Susan and Intercept, he curates communities of artists and cultural architects, exploring the spaces where culture and sound quietly collide.˚
