Absence of Facts is the label from one of Finland’s most dedicated techno artists. The label boss Orion has been on the country’s national radio YleX for over a decade and also has appearances on the likes of top labels like Bas Mooy’s Mord, and Coyu’s Suara.

His new release sees another killer collaboration with legendary Swedish don Cari Lekebusch on an EP called Creatures following his longstanding works on everywhere from Adam Beyer’s Drumcode to Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver imprint.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the opening track “Piru” which is a thundering jam. Raw and driving, its energetic and jackin’ style is aimed at moving the dance floor, while oozing quality from precise, stabbing tones and spacey analogue textures that add looming tension to this functional club spinner.
