Corriamo al Monte della Pace   [Parafrasi del Salmo 83(84)]
E' una parafrasi del Salmo: ho liberamente adattato alcune frasi al tema della Pace!

Let us run to the Mount of Peace   [Paraphrase of Ps. 83(84)]
It's a paraphrase of the Psalm, I freely adapted some sentences to the theme of Peace!
(The English translation is below the Italian lyrics)

“ Quanto amabili sono le tue dimore, Signore della Pace.
L’anima mia languisce e brama gli atri del Signore.
Il mio cuore e la mia carne esultano, 
esultano nel Dio della Pace.
I passeri hanno casa e le rondini il nido, 
dove porre i piccoli, vicino al tuo altare, Signor, 
Re della Pace e mio Dio.
Beato chi la casa tua abita: le tue lodi sempre canta!
Beato chi trova in Te la sua forza
e inizia nel suo cuore il cammino della Pace.
Beato chi decide nel suo cuore per la Pace.
Beato chi decide nel suo cuore per la Pace.
Andando in una valle di pianto, 
una sorgente sgorga e si arriva presso Dio:
stare nella sua casa solo un’ora
è più che mille anni vissuti senza Pace.
Sole e scudo è il Signore, Re della Pace.
Grazia e gloria vengono dal Re di Pace: il bene non rifiuta.
Beato chi confida nel Dio della Pace! "

CORRIAMO AL MONTE DELLA PACE   (LET US RUN TO THE MOUNT OF PEACE)

Chronicles of the Forsaken I
Epic Powerful Battle Music 

The necromancer lord awaits. He waves his hand, and say, with a spectral voice : Arise, my Legions! Scores of undead soldiers reanimate and rise from the ground, ready to rampage the kingdom. Destruction will be complete. Only a few human soldiers stands between them and oblivion. 

The horde screams as they charge, plunging the defenders in terror. Despite the heroic stand, the soldiers lose all hope. Their ranks shatter like glass.
When all hope is lost, a horn is heard beyond the battle. Reinforcement! Just as they reach the battleground, the mounted holy knights descend the hill on their war horse and pierce through the undead horde, depicting an heroic and epic battle, with knights claiming victory! 

Then everything stops. Soldiers look around, seeing the waste, desolation and loss caused  by this battle. Grief overcome them, but there is still hope.

Suddenly, the ground start to shake. Rumbling, rhythmic echoes of marching stomps resonates far away. A second horde is  closing in. 

Soldiers and knights gets into formation again, as the undead legions defiles the land once again in a final epic battle. This will be their last stand to protect their kingdom...

I wanted to tell the story i had in mind as i was making this track. I gave it every bits of fantasy and epic battle as i could! I got a bit inspired by Lord of the Rings (Howard Shore) for the middle part. Hope you like it!

The Dwarves of Iron Mountain

Hi guys, I hope everyone is well. I composed this piece of music then fed the audio and the image into chatgpt, just out of curiosity, and here's the description it came up with, which I thought was pretty accurate, though somewhat pretentious..
"A man stands before the ruin of worlds, reaching toward a colossal god asleep in storm-wrought clouds. Divine flesh pulses with ancient patterns; angels spiral like torn wings in flame. Light bleeds from the man's fingertip, brushing eternity. Silence screams. Time bows. In this dream, God is not salvation—but the abyss that remembers when creation first wept".

God Dream

This is part of the soundtrack I was writing many years ago for our videogame Cardhalia. Dwundur was a main city in the game. We were making the game with friends as kids, unfortunately it was never released. I have written the first 40 seconds of this piece when I was 16yo and then couldn't figure out how to continue with it. It was a nice challenge to return to this piece and "finish" it after almost 30 years later. With nowadays tools it is so much easier, with proper DAW and instrument libraries (and skills and experience). This is Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and PianoTeq. I mean, I'm no master, just a plain amateur, but it is such a fun to play with all the instruments of the full orchestra!
