Lullaby

Something cinematic was created in my "Cubase kitchen" this time.  The song "Aurora" is quite rhythmic. There are string ostinatos that drive the rhythm along. In the middle section, things get sugary sweet when the choir, cello, violins and French horn come together.

For many years I have wanted to see the beauty of the Celtic Highlands. I imagine it would be wonderful. I have been inspired by the previous track ("Ginger Angel") by my friend David Dunham, in which I was able to play.
I know that David has a similar wish and he loves celtic music. Since I have come to appreciate him very much in the past, I would like to dedicate this song to him. This song is for you and "Keep Celtic", David. And please forgive my poor guitar playing. 😉 

I invite you to explore the Highlands in your mind with this track to my music.

The wacky adventures of Inspector Looso - New Fetchflix TV Show

The Phantom is a white collar criminal that Inspector Looso has been following for weeks across the country to find his link with other financial criminals. Even though Inspector Looso installed a twin turbo on his engine, his 1969 Citroen 2CV is no more than a wreck with four donkeys running on cheap scotch under the hood. This morning the Phantom is driving his sumptuous 1939 Lancia Astura specially designed by Pininfarina to go see his partner in crime Maximilian Moneybags. Looso is flooring the accelerator in order to keep up with the Lancia Astura in the twisty roads. However, the road holding of the 2CV is as good as a sandal on a banana peel and thus Looso ends his chase in the ditch with the wheels up and the morale down. What are The Phantom and Mr. Moneybags up to anyway?  For sure, Inspector Looso’s boss will not be happy after this new goof.

Hello everyone,  
my mother recently told me again how she met my father. They fell in love while dancing. 
At night, after they came back from dancing, my father would always walk my mother home. They would waltz the entire way through the streets and alleys. When my mother talks about it, her face lights up. My father passed away two years ago. The memory remains with her, though it will never fade.  
In a few weeks, my nephew is getting married. 
I will waltz with my mother at the wedding reception.

New song recorded tonight. Things are what they are.. on the melancholy side.... which i'm prone to wallow in from time to time.

It has come to my attention that I haven't put my pen to paper for a while
I've been burning scented candles that suggested fields of roses for so long
and I've lately come to realize the simple reason for my lack of candor
and the soil of sordid life reveals the blameless grief left floating in the breeze
I opted out of bowing low for fear that I might make a wrenching scene

I thank god sometimes for time alone with cheap guitars and cheaper brands of wine
I avoid my past discrepancies and present time inequities like plague

It all comes back around

There's an interesting delivery thing here... Sonic tou know me Im not afraid to bolt on whatever to my music. I think the complete absence of doubt in that maybe stems from me not being face to face sharing it with people as that kind of interaction is different whether we like it or not.

So when reafing this I'm sitting at the back of the car, my neighbours near by... so you can notice a slightly more reserved delivery then normal..

I am a Butterfly

One of my favourite Soundcloud artists @remnant60 posted a gorgeous track that he left open for collaboration, so I jumped at the chance to try and add something that might fit with his ambient, mystical guitar sound. I settled on some ethereal cello chords (played on keyboard with some pitch bend modulation) and this is the result. I try to recommend listening with headphones when I think it's worth it, and I think it applies in this case.  :)

Iren, the Spring Girl

This song is actually more of a poem. But I only realized that when I tried to set the text to music after I had written it. 
"I count on you" is a song written as a heartfelt thank-you to the quiet companions in our lives — those who stand by us when times get tough. 
Sometimes, these are the people who understand us without needing many words. Sometimes, they are the loyal, four-legged friends who remain by our side through the years. And sometimes, it’s a spiritual presence that carries us through our darkest moments.

This song is about that steady, silent presence — the comforting feeling of not being alone. It reminds us how much strength can be found simply in being there for one another. Some call it friendship, others call it love — some believe it is God. Ultimately, it’s about connection, trust, and the quiet certainty: I can count on you.

A heartfelt thank-you to Andreas and Colter, who deeply inspired me in the creation of this song.

Kintsugi also serves as a metaphor for embracing our flaws and imperfections in life seeing them as a source of strength and beauty and finding resilience in the face of adversity.

In 1986 I was 17 , My big brother Scott was 19;.  He was killed and left at the side of a road by a drink driver who didn’t stop. They drove off and were eventually caught. This song is a dedication in music and words for my brother and for others who have lost a loved one to crime.

This is not just about Trump—it’s about the people who enable him. The sycophants, the cowards, and the opportunists who stand by his side and allow his corruption to flourish. They are just as guilty as he is. As De Niro said: *“They’re all scum. They’re all mutts. They don’t know what they’re talking about.”* We need to hold them accountable. We need to stand up and fight back.  

The stakes are too high to sit on the sidelines. This is about the soul of our nation. It’s about protecting our democracy, our values, and our future. We cannot afford to let Trump and his enablers win. We must vote, we must organize, and we must make our voices heard. As De Niro said: *“We’re gonna fight back. We’re gonna fight back with everything we’ve got.”*  

So let’s do this. Let’s come together and defeat Trump once and for all. Let’s show the world that we are better than this. That we will not tolerate corruption, lies, and hate. That we will stand up for what’s right. As De Niro said: *“We’re gonna win. We’re gonna win because we have to.”*  

This is our moment. This is our fight. Let’s get to work.

Hi, I’m Axel.
After a longer musical hibernation, I started making music again about three years ago – and honestly, it feels amazing! I’ve been hanging around on SoundCloud for about two years now, and I’m constantly blown away by the creativity, variety, and real talent to be found here.

Music is just a hobby for me – which is exactly why I have zero ambitions to make money with it. I’m here simply because it’s fun. So, a small request: Dear annoying promoters with your shady offers – please save us both the trouble, I’m not your guy. I’m not chasing follower counts, click records, or streaming millions. Sure, I’m happy when people listen – but what I value most is connecting with a few honest musicians who feel the same way I do. Quality over quantity, you know?

One thing I do find kind of sad: there’s so much AI-generated music floating around on SoundCloud, often without being labeled. Come on, folks – if a robot wrote your track, at least give R2-D2 the credits.

I play keyboards and have already had the pleasure of creating songs together with some wonderful musicians I met right here on SoundCloud – something I’d love to keep doing. For me, collaboration and exchange are a huge part of what makes music so exciting.

Tech corner, anyone? All my tracks are produced in Cubase 13 Pro. Over time, more and more VST instruments have snuck into my setup – from Spitfire and Native Instruments to Spectrasonics and more. My go-to drum sounds usually come from Toontrack, which have become the rhythmic backbone of many of my tracks. I’ll admit it: I’ve caught a bit of a collecting bug here. Sadly, it’s eating both my wallet and my hard drive space. Will it ever stop? Probably not. 🙄

Style-wise, I love exploring different genres with no limits. For me, the goal is simple: have fun, stay inspired, and keep growing creatively. And every time I stumble upon a track here on SoundCloud that really moves me – the kind of song you’d probably never hear on the radio – it feels like discovering a hidden treasure.

I’m really glad you found my channel – and I hope my music brings you as much joy as it brings me when I create it.
