The next inspiring artist who will showcase his Far Blue perception for you, is Daniel van der Zwaag. Daniel is an artist who's mixes we have always admired, and his productions even more so. However, this mix is truly something special, since it consists mostly of tracks from Daniel's forthcoming album. His album will be released on the wonderful Oleeva label, and we are honored to be able to showcase these tracks through his Far Blue concept. What we see, what we hear, what we feel. We are guided by our senses. The very senses that make us human. Light and sound are similar, but quite different at the same time.  Light waves can travel in vacuum. Sound waves require a material medium to travel, and hence, cannot travel in vacuum. They can both be reflected, and they can both be refracted.
As we grow, as we change, we are the medium of our life's progression. This sound, this story; is one of change, of evolution. It reflects, it refracts, it evolves. This set is a tale, and an ode to movement. Let it take you where it may. texture, sound, groove, and feeling.

Apollonia es una DJ francesa de Córcega (sur de Francia). Descubrió su pasión por la música desde muy joven, gracias a la influencia de su padre y hermano, quienes también son DJs. Creció en los años 90, inmersa en las vibrantes fiestas organizadas por sus padres, donde experimentó una amplia variedad de sonidos, desde el dub hasta la techno. Con el tiempo, Apollonia encontró su propio camino musical único, adentrándose en una cautivadora mezcla de estilos disco infusionados con elementos de espacio y oscuridad, mientras mantenía un profundo aprecio por la música de los años 70 y 80. Sus creaciones musicales entrelazan de manera hermosa notas oscuras y melodiosas, ya que mezcla hábilmente el disco eléctrico con envolventes ritmos electrónicos.

Fullmoon Lovers Space Dub pt. 1 & 2

Good Block are a dj/producer/designer duo from London who have been throwing occasional parties around the capital for the past 7 years. Last year - after a series of DJ friendly edits issued gratis - Richard & Andy put out their first fully fledged EP of original material ('4 Corners E.P' that we premiered here at LYO) ; a composite soup of influences and styles from around the Orb, trekking through slow jungle chug, cosmic Caribbean Juno jams, Japanese synth pop snares and New-Age meanderings. Having just released ‘Vuudu’ on Australian label Planet Tripp, they have a second edit upcoming on Orange Tree Edits and are soon to complete and self release their second EP of original material.
