Victor's Lament (Man Vs Game Dark Souls II Character Theme)

A quick remix I put together, inspired by the great Michiru Yamane's theme for the recently kickstarted 'Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night'

I wanted to try and take her melodies, and put them generally in the context of an older 'Castlevania-like' sound.  Hopefully you enjoy it, whether or not you feel I hit the mark!

This is my track that was created for the Materia Collective (http://www.materiacollective.com/) project NIBEL: Ori And The Blind Forest Remixed. The album releases on March 18th, a week after the 1 year anniversary of this charming game.

It is a remix of "Naru, Embracing the Light" by Gareth Coker (https://twitter.com/garethcoker), and features my efforts to fuse the lighthearted writing found in the original composition along with chiptune elements created using Plogue's Chipsounds (http://www.plogue.com/products/chipsounds/).

It has been a journey from start to finish working on this piece. I have learned so many things! What to do, and what not to do. Many things could've been changed, but I made do with what I had to the best of my abilities, and I am happy with the result!
