I was a high-schooler, not yet able (if at all) to write decent lyrics. So I resorted to more or less famous poems, but also to short stories from which I cut out fragments and stitched them together. Under my scalpel also fell 'Superfluous Invitations', a short story by Dino Buzzati published in 1958 in 'Sixty Short Stories'. There is a version that I recovered from a 1977 tape , but I had the desire to replay and rearrange it a few time ago.
