Basilisk is a veteran multi-genre DJ, co-founder of the influential psychedelic techno label Techgnosis Records (@techgnosis-records), and founder of the iconic @Ektoplazm music portal and label group. Originally hailing from Toronto, Canada, he is now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he remains dedicated to breaking boundaries through mixcraft and the art of DJing.

Appearing now on Subtrail's Trail Cast, Basilisk presents a broad definition of "psychedelic techno", sourcing material from across the spectrum from minimal and dub techno to dark and progressive psytrance, with tasteful references to tech house and classic trance. Smooth harmonic mixing, subtle tension building, and a spiral motion through different moods ensures this will be a true journey into sound. His sets primarily draw from a wide range of psy tech, bush tech, minimal, prog tech, peak-time and techno. His musical curation and experience will take the dance floor on deep, emotional journey's with purpose.  

From experimenting with vinyl mixing and music production to orchestrating underground events, Jeremy’s passion for electronic music began in Melbourne’s vibrant rave scene in the late '90s.

Axiomatica enjoys playing at private parties, doofs and warehouses. 
Active involvement in organising, setting up, and playing with various crews at festivals and Burns such as Rainbow Serpent, Burning Seed, and Underland have seen him forging new paths within Victoria's bush doof culture, shaping experiences with Freedom Doof, Shadow Alchemy, and Soulah Powah.
