Great cello (?) opening. Very strong vocal. Big guitar sound too. Interesting story about controlling another. Painfull implications but strongly expressed.

between his verdicts
But he filled the spaces
with speeches
he wrote for me
His voice louder than mine
his need to be right
louder than truth

He argued with a strawman
gave me thoughts I never claimed
stripped me down to paper fears
then set the stage and named the game
He won alone
I watched him shout
He locked the truth
and left me out

I wasn't perfect
But I was real
Still, he fenced a fiction
and crowned himself
king of reason
Even my pauses
were misread as guilt
