Parassela is the live and studio project of Blawan and The Analogue Cops. They have been releasing  vinyl hand-grenades on Restoration and Vae Victis Records, after their quickly sold out debut on their own Parassela imprint.
HFFKEM (Hedge Fund Festivals Kill Electronic Music) is state of the art biting Techno; written, mixed and produced at Blawan’s headquarters in Berlin during a gloomy day of summer this year. The Analogue Cops  has joined the bulky modulars of the studio with their roadie cutting edge Elektron machines. These four gritty cuts are an infuriated conglomerate of liquefied analogue leads, rotten oppressive drums and trenchant FM drubbings. And a statement without half-measure on the outline of the situation.

Tresor Records is proud to present Sleeparchive’s most recent work.

Six years have passed since Sleeparchive aka Roger Semsroth produced the phenomenal "A Man Dies In The Street” EP series for Tresor. Semsroth then went on to produce under this and other aliases (Nordvest, Civil Defence Programme) on his own eponymous imprint.

With the "Revised Recordings EP”, Sleeparchive continues to research and master the dense constructed rhythmic textures that have become his signature sound. The three titles are magisterial demonstration of Sleeparchive's high-hand at designing such labyrinthine structures, ever so strongly rooted in an exalted past, yet always thrusting forward.

Ongoing with his Sleep Cycle series, he includes six tightly locked grooves cut on the A-side, only available on vinyl format.

Caustic, dense and centred around complex but exquisitely executed percussive motifs and driven, rising sequences - many would argue an alliance between Shifted’s heady, monochrome recordings and Lucy’s beloved Stroboscopic Artefacts label is long overdue. The music draws on much of the British producer’s previous work, assembled carefully using a characteristic sonic palette - but as ever, Brewer finds fresh space between sounds - showing off a tentatively more extroverted side to his work. 

Title track The Light Touch is perhaps one of Shifted’s more idiosyncratic pieces. Instantly recognisable with it’s heavily granular finish and subtle shifts in delay and reverb composition, the track is rich with groove and moves relentlessly across it’s five minute run time. 

Seel showcases the artist’s talent for building tension with minimal elements - built around a single warping lead, noise tracks drift in and out of the mix to generate effective builds and subtle releases. EP closer, Mixen, riffs on it’s predecessor’s approach but strips back the percussive elements further and ups the ante with searing drone signals rising up above the lead sequence driving the track.

As ever, Brewer’s musical output looks to the heart of the genre - remaining true to purist sensibilities that favour economy of sonic components and studio prowess over unnecessary fanfare, but all the while forging new ground & refining a genuinely personal aesthetic. A powerful debut on a label in fine form that represents some of the best of the British artist’s work.

Moscow's Monasterio resident Stef Mendesidis has once again been tapped by techno superstar Ben Klock to concoct a crucial techno EP for his Klockworks imprint. The four distinctive cuts that appear on the release have become essential peak-time ingredients in the label head's DJ sets.

Ahead of the 'Klockworks 26' release date on August 16, Mendesidis has handed over the swirling and disorienting cut 'Celesta 33' to Mixmag for a premiere.

‘Third Contact EP’ delivers four tracks from an alliance of artists who are at a peak in their careers; Denise Rabe clearly defines her dark, hypnotic trade-mark aesthetic in "We’ll Meet In Shanghai", a timeless track even before its release. Geistform combines industrial-electro with a raw techno drive, continuously channelling his masterful energy in "3C 273". A more dancefloor-oriented B side features "Stolen" from Temudo, delivering rolling groove and distorted bass-lines, Adriana Lopez closing the EP with her high energy, spellbinding "SMV", both B-side tracks perfectly geared toward a wide variety of DJ sets.
