AXTEROID es alter ego electrónico del madrileño Juan Carlos Rojas, quien se refugia en sus sintetizadores, cajas de ritmos y efectos en formatos digitales, analógicos y virtuales, para profundizar en los elementos más clásicos del género electrónico ecléctico, hedonista y popular. Las máquinas y computadoras son parte misma de su inspiración, además de todo aquello que recuerde a la cinematografía fantástica de los 80s, 90s, los videojuegos, la ciencia, la ciencia ficción. Todos estos elementos junto con el proceso compositivo en sí son aspectos comunes a su espacio creativo.
También es miembro y cofundador del Colectivo/Sello de música electrónica Several Roots a través del cual va a publicar su nuevo EP “Wide Signal”, y en el que colaboran Lagoon y Mynationshit aportando su visión particular en forma de remixes.
Lagoon es el dúo formado por los gallegos David Crespo y Tomás Milia. Son también cofundadores de Several Roots. Aportan un remix no sujeto a etiquetas pues su estilo navega a medio camino entre la pista de baile y el placer mismo por la escucha. 
Bajo el nombre de Mynationshit se esconde el conocido productor almeriense Carlos Martín, quien, además, es uno de los creadores del respetado sello Waste Editions, vinculado con la escena Electro y Synthwave, y en el que colaboran artistas de la talla de Visonia, Dead Husband o WLDV, entre otros.
“Wide Signal” se compone de 4 temas eclécticos donde se reconoce la inspiración señalada anteriormente que no es sino fruto de la influencia de bandas, artistas o proyectos como Kavinsky, Vitalic, Justice, Digitalism, Hal Incadenza, Boys Noize, SMD, Perturbator, Siriusmo, Moderat, Orbital, Trentemoller, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Legowelt, BeGun, Lindstrom, Tycho, M83, Com Truise, etc.
En la trayectoria de Juan Carlos Rojas se encuentra la publicación de varios EPs bajo distintos alias, su participación en diversos recopilatorios y la realización de remezclas para grupos como Lethargy (Black Flame Records), No Aloha (Lucinda Records), Promising/Youngster (Several Roots/Sin Hilo), Mynationshit (Waste Editions), Repajaro (Mona Records), etc. 
Several Roots, se compone de varios artistas del territorio nacional a los que les une la pasión por las máquinas y la electrónica libre de etiquetas. Adhesive, Lagoon, Nordés, Promising/Youngster, Axteroid y Plebeyo son los nombres que dan forma a este proyecto. Su primera referencia, un recopilatorio de temas propios inéditos, fue seleccionado por DJMag como uno de los 10 mejores de 2017. En varios de los EPs publicados hasta la fecha han colaborado productores como Ioan Gamboa, Synth Alien, Ethan Poe o Lefrenk. Los directos de Several Roots se han presentado en festivales y salas de renombre como Music&Dealers, Festival Volumens, Café La Palma, Ballesta Club, Festival Observatorio, etc.
