Axle Waters is a rapper, songwriter and electronic music producer from Australia.
Axle (AKA. Alexander Waters) spent his childhood moving between Australia and the UK. He was heavily influenced by the grime scene in London during the start of the 2000’s which led him to produce a number of solo and collaborative hip hop projects. In the late 2000’s Axle became a fanatic of hard dance and began producing Hardstyle, Melbourne Bounce and Psychedelic Trance. After spending years designing soundscapes in the electronic space he has returned to his roots as a hip hop producer and now draws upon real life experiences to create “Straya” made hip hop.
Axle Waters EP is the first major release from upcoming independent rapper/producer Axle Waters. Axle's latest album (Axle Waters - EP) follows the journey through his early days in the hard dance music scene, through his ups and downs with drugs, relationships and being an 20 something year old in today's Australia.
