At long last our good friend Ferdinand joins the ever growing list of Ismcast guests. The Paris based DJ, producer and Life In Patterns label boss has been building his profile nicely with tracks on Ismus, LIP and Area to name a few. He also has his debut EP about to drop on the mighty ARTS.

With an hour of fast melodic techno, Ferdinger gets us nicely prepared for the weekend.

Okravan is a DJ and producer from Brest (BY) now based in Wroclaw (PL)
Maxim admires early 2000's techno, as well as vintage synthesizers and drum machines by Roland, which makes him a fan of old-school house, techno, hardtrance, acid and more.
Resident of Warsaw parties @orbitraxx and @kimatika-waves also Minsk labels @backsideslice  and @minsk0
His tracks aired on @radioplato, @resonancemsk  and BBC Radio 1.
Also in the podcast you can hear his fresh track, which will be released on 17.12.21. (Techno Equal Punk) And also a member of the second compilation Axxid, which will be released at the end of January 2022.

The tenth anniversary Axxidcast stands today by our good friend @akaks-1, a participant of our last year's AXXID002 release and Minsk Axxid showcase. Kirill (@akaks-1) is a DJ and producer, prefers a classic selection of techno, trance and a bit of breakbeat in the energy range from 145 to 160 beats per minute. his podcasts and tracks usually attract a large contingent of listeners and fans of his work.

Today we are releasing another Axxidcast by Inger Illel (@ingerillel) -  DJ, musician and producer from the Czech Republic, Prague. The ideological inspirer and one of the founders of the @amphibian_rec music label and @nmt_au podcast series. 

Echoes of childhood, darker and colder, are clearly heard in the podcast. Oscar Mulero had a great influence on the development and formation of musical taste and inspiration, where you can easily catch the notes of groove techno and different textures.

Inger as an artist, describes himself as a individual who, while playing, takes you on some kind of a trip and the main task is for you to feel and to communicate.
Whether it's evoking undiscovered landscapes or even feelings that are deep inside of you, it is always an incredible way of experience. Inger while creating also shares his feelings with you, which can also have an impact on the listener.

Also these crazy guys from Amphibian have a killer collaboration party with @bassiani 13th January 2023 on epic Strahov Stadium in Prague.

This month Carhartt WIP Radio brings you Violet – a DJ, producer and record label owner from Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2010 she has released music that flirts with techno, house, breakbeat and hip hop on labels like One Eyed Jacks and Paraíso from Portugal, Love On The Rocks from Berlin, her own label naïve, and its subdivision naivety. 

Last year she dropped “Bed Of Roses,” her first solo album, on the San Francisco-based imprint Dark Entries, highlighting her talent for producing an album with a story arc in which introspective synth spheres and cinematic ambient sounds jack with techno, hip hop, dancehall, electro, R&B, dubstep and absorbing pop particles. As well as releasing music, she is also a globe-touring DJ who is known for sets that bring techno into new break-laden territories.

For Carhartt WIP Radio Violet prepared a show comprised of her own music in a way that, in her words, “represents her the most.” As always, we also sat down with this month’s host to discuss musical influences – from The Neptunes to Bon Jovi – her career to date, and what it means to make music in the midst of a pandemic.
