ASSAULT SHELL Original Sound Track

Working on another OST (Or in it's current form, a sampler) for Team Overloaded! This one is for a cool Shmup called Zero Guard!

All the tracks here are in the current demo. Any new tracks for the game will be uploaded here. I tried my best to go with a arcade feel for this one. Hope you enjoy!

ZER0 GUARD Original Sample Tracks

Decided to take it easy and work on a simple loop from this week and last!

 Been listening to a bit of Jazz Fusion lately and found something that sounded similar to a Sports game from the 90s, so I tried to capture that sound as best as I could. This also may or may not have been a test to see how well Ebina and Otorii blend with other Gadgets (I seem pretty obsessed with those two gadgets lately ^^; )

I've also provided a download link with different versions of the song so you can jam along with it, cover it, and so on (If you want)! You've got my full permission. No DMCA craziness or anything.

Sports Weather

An expanded version of a tune I posted on twitter which is based on me playing around with a little music tool that's been making its rounds within the music community on there (Found at http://foldr.moe/harp/). This one kind of has a arcade racing vibe of sorts to it, hence the name. 

I also may or may not have dropped a reference to a certain thing heard in a lot of tunes.

To The Limit!

The first Mix I ever did. It's a bit sloppy but not bad otherwise. Planning to revisit in the future and clean it up a bit. 

Daft Punk Vs. Teriyaki Boyz - Areodynamic Baggy Pants

Decided to try my hand at remixing a tune that was stuck in my head for a while now, because that's what VG OSTs do to me. This is what I have so far.

Gypsy Woman Performed by Crystal Waters (You'll understand why this is here once you listen to it.)

Black Hole Anomalies ~AW Mix~(Draf 2)

For this track, I was aiming for something you'd hear in a beat 'em up set in the 80's. The name is a reference to a style of wrestling that combined wrestling with other martial art techniques. I had this image of a retired wrestler turned detective and his younger partner cleaning up the streets after getting word of a major crime ring being ran by a notorious mobster (Or something to that effect).

Strong Style Justice

I was aiming for something you might here at a Tropical Island Resort in a RPG or VN of some sort. I'll probably take some time to clean up the mixing and change up a couple of instruments at some point.

Green Leaf Samba (Draft)

Made a revisit to a tune I composed a while back and decided to create a Stage Clear/Battle Won and Results tune to accompany it. I'll eventually clean this one up a bit.

Day 4 submission hot off the press!

So a good friend of mine wrote up a draft for a boxing game concept and handed it to me. Using the ideas from it, I conjured up this short little tune that I thought could be used for the intro.

I'll def improve on it more at some point!

Bout To The Top (Draft)

Went with one of the tasks on the list to compose a sleeping at the inn/good night tune like the ones commonly found in a JRPG. Short, sweet and simple.

Sleep Tight

I might have spent too much time on this one, but it's something I really wanted to do for the longest. 

I went with something you might here in a certain popular franchise that recently had a spiritual sequel kickstarted. I'm def gonna have to clean this one up later at some point, but I think it came out pretty decent otherwise!

Submerged Strike (Stage 3 V2)

A more complete version of "The Cursed Cathedral", a Castlevania inspired track (Or "Castlevania meets Kenji Ito" as a friend of mine described it) I started a draft on this past spring. I wanted to do something for Spooptober and figured I finish this up in celebration of this haunted season.

From a capture card test done on 11/21/2020. 

I wanted to mess around with the Ebina (Taito/Zuntata arcade plugin) and Otorii (Mega Drive/Genesis) Plugins that are DLC for the Korg Gadget app on Switch. It's a really fun DAW that lets you do so much with it. I'm gonna try to do more of these streams when I'm not booked with stuff, but figured I'd put this together with the time I had handy/as a break of sorts.
