Meet CSpence – an upcoming hip-hop artist with Middle Georgia Soul who has been influenced & inspired to rap by such stars as Tupac, Dre 3000, Method Man, Eminem, Project Pat, UGK, Devin the Dude, Twista, Geto Boys, The D.O.C. and L.L. Cool J.  CSpence experienced somewhat a good childhood, although raised without a father, but with a strict, concerned mother that tried to lead him away from trouble.

“At first when we moved down here to Warner Robins it was a quiet nice little country town – until we moved to the Northside that’s where my mom started having issues with me. I appreciated her being on me, but i still did my dirt, just learned how to stay low key. My mom thought it was still safe, my brothers and sisters were already out of school and went to school on the Southside, so I really had a chance to see the real side of Macon/Warner Robins. So as a youngin’ I used music as a way to channel my anger.”

Very passionate about his music, CSpence defines his style of music as called “Southern Linguistics” – a very unique and conscious style of Hip Hop. As he describes, “Some may say its not conscious cause of how I tell the stories, i like people to relate to me as if we coolin’  talking bout everyday life.”
