Downtempo is a broad sub-genre of electronic music and generally features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than what is typically found in dance music.

This doesn't mean music with no bass, beat or energy - expect tracks you will love for their soul, groove and sexiness.

Jove's Crimson Delta is a beautifully unique binaural journey based on the octave transpositions of Jupiter’s sideric movement around the sun. It takes the biggest planet of our solar system approximately 4332.588 days to return to the same point in its orbit(1). Utilizing basic mathematics, Planetary Cymatic Resonance was able to convert time into frequency to determine the fundamental pitch and tempo. Timo Preece and Steffen Günther have finely tuned their binaural composition to correlate with the orbit of this heavenly body around the sun.

The fundamental frequency matching Jupiter’s rotation period in its  29th octave equals the root note of F# at 183.58Hz (36th octave). All other time based parameters, such as tempo (86.05BPM), binaural beats, delay and reverb computations are derived from octaves of this astronomical frequency. The binaural pulsing equals 2.87Hz which sits in the delta region. This is the brainwave pattern that we reach when we are in deep sleep. According to Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, when listened to on headphones, binaural beats alter the listeners brain waves to the binaural pulse and may be used to reach altered states of consciousness through brainwave entrainment(2).

I decided to upload the live recording of the set i played at Bucht der Träumer Festival 2017.

During the Summer, i played many hours in the tent of the lovely Fernab Crew. Also from Sunday to Monday night at Moyn Moyn Festival, what was really intense and special to me.

I hope with these two hours i can refresh the emotions of the people been with me at some point this summer. Or can let all the people and friends take part, who not been there with there bodys, but been with me in their minds.

And finally i hope i can let you and all the people take part who are not able to visit me and just are able to listen to what gets uploaded.

Firstly due to the horrific bushfires that gripped Australia and now COVID-19 our beloved Rainbow Serpent Festival was once again postponed for 2020.   I was booked to play on the Temple Stage but alas it's not to be. So ‘I am Free’ is a 3hr set I recorded in my studio today - 14/04/20, in honour of Rainbow that was not to be and also it's my gift of sonic peace and solace amidst the chaos.

The one thing a global pandemic can do is bring us all together, if we choose it to.  This is not the first pandemic and it won’t be the last.  But there is an ongoing pandemic of intolerance and ignorance within the human species.  

Let this COVID-19 be a teacher of tolerance and understanding. That no matter which place we find ourselves on the planet from which supposed class or cast we come from. We need to be good to each other, take care of each other and remove selfishness from us.  

With any major crisis, which there have been many and there are many currently going on.  We need to be aware that in the midst of the chaos there are dark forces that attempt to manipulate the situation. Don’t let them!    We are innately good humans, don’t let shit humans utilise very real events to turn humanity on each other.  There are conspiracy’s and conspiracy theories which are two very different things.  Don’t let fear take hold and make up stories from very real stories.

Be aware, don’t be passive but be cautious. But ultimately be good humans amongst the chaos and following it. You are Free to be a good human!
