Stacked with fiery rhythms, explosive drums, and razor sharp sound design, Tek is back with another round of speaker smashing tracks. On his last release he proved he was one to watch, and The Truth EP solidifies this a thousand fold. Each track is laden with everything that defines the deep underside of the genre: spacious yet intense soundscapes, drums so thick they defy the imagination, and overwhelming subs that subvert the senses. There's no denying the inherent power in this release, and your only choice is to dive right in. 

With a meandering storm of pads, “Antidote” subtly builds the tension from the start. As it hits an unbearable peak, the drop rises from out of nowhere to launch the song into the stratosphere. A constantly shifting and mutating world of sounds collide in this track - the sub work is especially ingenious, alternating between pure driving lows and a body convulsing mutant wobble. Using a ghosty vocal sample along with bubbling sci-fi fx, each section counterpoints the other to deliver the deep yet vigorous energy that epitomizes the track.

Launching himself through labels such as Ascension Audio, Paranormal Audio, and Identity Records exemplifies the intense passion for the dark side fuelling upcoming talent SCURO. Using deep drums with various types of percussion to craft unique grooves reveals insight into his unparalleled creative process. Layering haunting atmospheres in creative ways on top of this, SCURO has quickly made a mark on the scene and his forthcoming release is something quite exceptional.

Direct and to the point, Freddy B has formulated a unique energy in delivering his lyrical style; one that unites happiness and confidence with a dose of politics for good measure. This approach creates a vibe that feeds the body while challenging the mind, a feat not easily achieved and one that has earned the attention of Sofa Sound Records, Abyssal Music, Modular Carnage Recordings, Identity Records, and many more. 

His passion for the deep and dark side of the genre lies in its ability to contain the elements of filth while not being overly in your face or intense. This makes the style incredibly versatile as it works just as well as at a party as it does in a more relaxed environment, and an ideal platform for the lyricist to work his magic. His creativity knows no bounds, as each flow evokes the search for the spontaneous and unknown. The latest track with Scuro, “Emancipated,” encapsulates this through a deadly combination between heavyweight production and the razor sharp delivery of this fiery MC.
