-Derek Cantu is co - founder of MilitantxMindz of OKC that lead a strong surge onto the music scene from 2009-2015.
-Influences include OutKast, T.I., B.I.G. Krit, Drake, 3 6 Mafia/Project Pat, Kendrick Lamar, WS Boogie, J Cole and many other artist that range from the new wave such as Jack Harlow & Da Baby to old school hip hop such as Guru & Wu-Tang. 
-In 2015 Derek released two installments of his debut albums titled "In The Name Of The Art". The 2nd installment was hosted by DJ Relentt of NYC. Both  bodies of work were fully mixed & engineered by Igloo Panda of OKC.
