'Metallurgy’ is the branch of materials science that deals with the study of the physical and chemical aspects of metallic items. In this piece, I utilize sound samples that arose from my own detailed study of the timbral characteristics of different ‘metallic’ sounds. 
In addition to this, I utilize sound synthesis techniques such as the FM Synthesis, Granular Synthesis, and Karplus-Strong Synthesis.
Sound sources include; recordings of brass instruments, plucked string noises, oil drums, and bowed metal objects.
