Montreal indie rockers Half Moon Run (Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, and Dylan Phillips) are best known for their acrobatic, cerebral arrangements and feral three-part harmonies.

In 1998, songwriting & production duo Emily Haines & Jimmy Shaw formed what would become Metric and left Toronto for NYC in search of like-minded artists.
