House of Optimism began his DJ-career in the beginning of 1992 playing at Tumult in Abcoude. Tumult was known for being one of the few clubs that programmed house music in the beginning of the 90’s. 

He quickly gained recognition for his unique style and energetic performances, which often blended different genres of music, including house, disco, and acid. In the 1990s he played at different clubs and festivals in the Netherlands like Mazzo, Paradiso and Melkweg. 

Throughout his career he continued to inspire and entertain audiences with his DJ sets and passion for music. By doing this House of Optimism remained a beloved figure in the underground scene of Amsterdam.
