Theresa R, Watson is a Washington D.C. native. She has been performing since she was 10 years old. Theresa is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She has also studied at North Carolina Central University, Howard University and The University of the District of Columbia. Theresa has worked with a various of artist from Earth, Wind and Fire, Patti LaBelle, Nina Freelon, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Brandford Marsalis, Kiera Sheard, Michelle Williams, Yolanda Adams and more. She inspires to be an artist and share love through her music.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Nigeria, Ayo is no stranger to the concept of surprises. She has had the opportunity to perform with some of the biggest names in music like Chance the rapper, Andra Day, Common, Solange and MORE. However, she is no stranger to the realities and turmoil of being a black woman in America. Despite her challenges navigating life as a young Nigerian woman in today’s society, Ayo has chosen to use her experiences to define her music. The sounds are a culmination of her many influences including jazz, folk, gospel, neo-soul, hip hop and pretty much anything she comes into contact with.
