The forthcoming release of our AYRA label is a special one as this is the way I like breakbeat sound in 2021: it's a modern crossover between breaks, progressive and psy trance, and - although I am very picky - I can easily imagine this track in every dj set of Beatman & Ludmilla.

The release got the best design ever created by my sister Lizarb, and I'm seriously glad to have her on board all of those years. 
Some days ago I just looked back on her designs she made for the label and wow: she just gave AYRA a unique and signature vibe. Really-really proud of her.

When I decided to hook-up some Psy-Trance Remix for the original, I pick Evan Gamble Lewis without a question (his Spoiler remix for Hyper is just the best psytrance remix I heard for a long time) as I think he is the most forward-thinking producer these days, he is mixing his breakbeat roots with ultra sharp psy sounds. Exactly how I like.

At last, I'm especially glad to work with those super talented people. If you have some time, check out those proper underground tracks which are really made by passion.

Hyper's 7th studio album is incoming and has all of the depth and diversity you might expect from an Electronic music producer who's never been afraid to swim against the tide. Having initially shot to prominence when the Breakbeat scene was at the cutting edge, Hatfield has performed at the biggest clubs and festivals the world over (Glastonbury, Fuji Rock, Roskilde, Sziget and Exit to name just a few) as either a DJ or as part of his live act.

Having taken a short break to concentrate on other projects, Hatfield threw his hat back into the ring late last year when called upon by Sony's Bullet Height to remix their 'Hold Together' single. This industrial electronic juggernaut was received very well critically and led to radio support from XFM and saw him upping the tempo for the subsequent remix of Losers' 'This Is A War'. Although this remix was crafted for the dancefloor with old school breaks and a heavy rave dynamic, the epic vocal, piano and strings saw the radio love spread even further.

Hypers most accomplished album to date will be turning a few heads, thats for sure…

‘Spoiler’ is a genre defying/defining track which was the turning point for Hypers production and artistic direction. Its cinematic, dark, brooding (almost trailer like) intro gives way to its arrogant, heavy bass riff, laden with guitar distortion and attitude which swaggers towards what sounds like the end of the world (the breakdown). Finally it crescendos into raging double time breaks.

It was one of a kind and has now become one of the most copied tracks (yes, ripped off) of the last two years.

Now it’s been vocalled by new, and heavily Radio 1 supported, UK band, Wargasm to form ‘Spoiler (Recoil)’.(female model with serious attitude, and a raging son of a Sex Pistol) This will be unleashed in January with a plethora of amazing (!!!) remixes, covers and reinterpretations!!
