Krake Festival introduces: Daribone

Recorded live at Krake Festival 2020, this edition of the KrakeCast series comes from @daribone,  a Berlin-based Chilean producer and live act, and co-owner of Mechatronica— a German record label, music collective and events promoter.
In his early years, Daribone developed a strong passion for the nostalgic sounds of synthesizers, which played a vital role on his journey into sound. His catalogue of releases surfs across a wide range of genres, and while Daribone eccentrically explores the fusion of electro and synthpop, the core of his sound is cemented in a rough, shamanic blend of EBM and new beat. His live performances are characterised by adventurous melodies executed on hardware synthesizers, blended with dynamic drum machine workouts.

🇫🇷 Initially co-founder and member of the collective of the same name, LEGITIME comes from the French Parisian scene. 

Now based in Brooklyn NY, he was always an amateur of "free parties" and right-hand man of a "clubbing game" assumed. Never confined to a particular style, he offers a panorama of approaches leaning on Low tempo, New wave, Ambient, Leftfield Disco, Breakbeat & ravy music. 

This plurality of styles has allowed him, in recent years, to express himself through his current residency on the highly respected RINSE Fm / Fr web radio, institutions as Concrete, la Station, Rex Club, Peripate, Public Records (NY), Night Moves (NY) etc… and performed with names as Marcellus Pittman, Paul Johnson, Shanti Celeste, Baba Stiltz, Simo Cell, Zuli & many more.

At the crossroads where man meets machine stands Narvalos, an electronic music project by Marco Segato and Alessio Costantino. The italian duo have a totally instinctive approach to music-making, trying to capture the mood of the moment with improvised hardware live-recordings as synthetic representations of imaginary time-spaces.
Combining ethnic soundscapes, wild beats, filthy bass, hypnotic synths, fx feedbacks and film vocals, Narvalos’ music mesmerizes, dances and raves at the same time, invoking a visual imaginary in the sound - that of a psychedelic landscape, a surreal creatures or a remote place – delivered through the ruthlessness of the machines.
