Azadi Records is an independent record label based in India. Its CEO, Mo Joshi, heads the label, which seeks to provide a platform for South Asian artists to release forward-thinking, politically conscious music that critically engages with (and comments on) the pressing issues of our time.

Our aim is not to be underground but to highlight pertinent stories often ignored by the mainstream.

We are the label of the culturally conscious. We are the creators of stories. We are the explorers of new sounds, new visuals, and new mediums that initiate dialogue between different communities around the world.

Tune Junkie/Wannabe Selector - Listening to everything out there. Or, at least trying to. And, then trying to make a coherent sonic journey out of all that exposure.
