Finally finished my first VCCV English UST ;v; I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out ^v^ I know some parts still might sound choppy, but I tried my best to get everything as smooth as possible ;v;
I used to really really love Within Temptation's songs, so... When I discovered this song had an official instrumental, I decided to try and cover it ^^
I tested the UST with both CZ and Fushi, but CZ ended up fitting it more o3o So.. I used her. (plus Fushi still is in progress)
Still.. Hope you guys like it ^v^/

I'm still amazed I hit 1k on here, I can't thank you guys enough for all the support you have given me towards my UTAU works. It's been a long journey and when I think about the 6 years I have spent towards UTAU it makes me wonder what is next to come.

【UTAU】Cistus albidus【Error 502 Bad Gateway】 +UST

Just something I'm working on, bit of a fusion of some 80s synth-pop and modern trance. I plan to record some vocals for this once I actually finish writing lyrics...that might take a bit, hehe. 

Definitely inspired by Andrew Huang's "Love and Desolation" album, as well as Tangerine Dream's "Le Parc" and some of JayB's trance work.

I've also got BELHALA and and Seven Memories on request...I think I might clear out the cache of unfinished MIDIs I have, first, though (this was one of them).

Probably one of the harder ones I've done. There's just so much going on!

FACT I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED EARLIER: using the FLP files of these is almost always preferable to using the MIDI files. I tend to do fancy panning tricks that MIDI doesn't support.

For this, I used mainly Arachno. But also SGM for the SFX, and Timbres of Heaven for that organ lead.

Fun fact: The MIDI keyboards in my piano class, which are Yamaha Portable Grands (more specifically, DGX-203s), have the exact same electronic drum kit as Arachno. So I guess we know where that sample set comes from now... ;)
