Resident talent Dezza released "Meekix" on our parent label back in September 2014. Nearly a year later, we are thrilled to present two inspired new interpretations of the Canadian phenom's uplifting classic, courtesy of two internationally acclaimed talents in their own right: LTN & Robert Nickson.

LTN, an exceedingly versatile musician, kicks off the release with one of his deepest (and most elegant) compositions to date. A gentle, deep groove and moody soundscape create an ominous aura in the early going. Gorgeous atmospheric textures and vivid melodic themes begin to emerge: a stunning synthesis of electronic and orchestral sounds. In the breakdown, goosebumps are induced by a mesmerizing, climactic score, featuring a haunting piano motif, ethereal vocals, and a crescendoing rhythm that ultimately resolves into a profoundly cathartic drop. This is easily one of our favorites of 2015.

A pioneer of trance, who continues to write visionary music under his RNX guise, Robert Nickson presents an uplifting progressive take on the original. Drawing inspiration once again from the cosmos, by the quarter turn, a celestially inspired array of pads and arpeggios imbue the listener with hope and joy. The song continues to soar higher, like an invincible astronaut, with the addition of lush lead chords. In the breakdown, the success of the mission is signaled by a rapturous high-octave version of the main "Meekix" theme, written with the pen of one of trance & progressive's most lucid poets.

Having demonstrated his credentials as one of the finest exponents in the progressive side of trance, Canadian rising star Solid Stone gears up for his debut album with an important piece released as a single, entitled Pushing Up.

The Montreal native signalled his intentions for a groove-laiden album with double EP Profound and Get On My Vinyl prior to Christmas, and with Pushing Up he collaborates with one of trance's distinguished voices, his good friend Jennifer Rene. The result is outstanding, with a deeply, darkened composition which will set the dancefloor firmly in motion inside the dark confines of a club.

To back up the original, UK brotherly duo Arkham Knights are recruited, and their infectious combination of tech and trance come to the fore again, taking Pushing Up to the peak festival ambiance.

With both versions receiving extensive support from label owner Markus Schulz, Pushing Up will possess a broad appeal with the mixes on offer. Whatever choice you make, it's one that will do the business.

For our winter chapter, Tunisian producer Haroun Chebbi aka Blackluster delivered us a very smooth and soft  flavoured  progressive "EP" called New Journey / Bliss. Well-known for his "chillout &amp; ambient" works, this time Haroun gaves us his  take on progressive house. The A-side of the EP "A New Journey" starts off with rhythmic plucks and atmospheric pads as well as  spacey sound effects in the background that balances of dark and light and therefore finishes the track completely a form of emotional ride. The B-side of the EP "Bliss" showcases the quality of sound with very smooth, soft rhythmic bassline with atmospheric pads and sound mysterious effects establishes the track to complete a stunning soundscape.
