Singer-songwriter based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, Florent Sivell is known for his well-established folk rock songs, influenced by Elliott Smith, Wilco, Sparklehorse, The Dandy Warhols, Bob Dylan, Neil Young Nick Drake, Serge Gainsbourg , Bashung, and many more. For the recording of his album BROKEN BOY which will be launched this fall as well as his single ANIMAL IN YOUR CAGE (8 August, 2022), Florent Sivell was assisted by the talented Montreal musician and producer Esther Spiegelman. The album BROKEN BOY is a stripped-down mix of folk rock filled with nuance, echoing his many musical influences, but with an authentic voice all his own.
