Every so often, a band or artist comes along that changes the temperature in the room. They can't be defined by one of their songs or be put into any one genre. Their sound is universal yet unique, and the emotion they deliver is unparalleled.

Created and led by iconic singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Gnecco... this is OURS.

On stage, the band has toured with The Cult, The Wallflowers, Powderfinger, Filter, Peter Murphy, Ocean Colour Scene, Pete Yorn, ...

As for its leader, Jimmy Gnecco, after touring with everyone from Lana Del Rey to A-Ha, via Royston Langdon (Spacehog), Citizen Cope, Blue October, The Gutter Twins (Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan), ... he now holds the microphone in concert for the band Humanist, with whom he is touring Europe in 2024, whether as headliner in the UK (in October), or as opening act for Depeche Mode, or Jane's Addiction.

An alchemist of emotions, Jimmy Gnecco has put his heart and soul into the songs on this new album with his band OURS, “New Age Heroine” (released on September 20, 2024), to find a way of transcribing the complex range of feelings that define the humanity of each and every one of us, to offer the world something that transcends all that, in a surge of love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding... Or how to turn music and words into something more beautiful, something greater; like turning lead into gold.

I write my own songs (most of which I feel are mediocre).

I play a lot of covers.

I record some of them on my phone.

Some of them I record on my computer in my bedroom.

There is nothing fancy.
There is no editing (everything is one take).
There are no final touches.

I really have no idea what I'm doing, so...
Pardon any minor mistakes.
Everybody makes them.

Music posted here comes from three projects. 

"A Little Driving Music" is my first collection of computer-based electronic music. It is “too techno for normal people and too normal for techno people.” You may hear the trance influences of Above and Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and their associated artists

"Hymns Electronica" was completed in June 2010. These are traditional hymn tunes done in various  electronic styles.

“TENORI-ON and On” is a collection of songs recorded live on the Yamaha TENORI-ON.
