This is a collection of old tracks I wrote, stretching back over ten years.  The common theme is that they were all written using Making Waves Audio with the exception of U17-19 Happy Song which was written (on user tracks 17 - 19 with a midi keyboard accompaniment) on a Roland MC-303 Groovebox .  I later switched to Logic and then Ableton.  Don't expect anything good, squeezing many of these sounds out of Making Waves was something of an achievement.

Oldies

A heavy old breakbeat track with a big build up and a sample of a floppy drive reading a disc, which I find particularly pleasing for some reason.

Glitching Powder was written over the last eight years or so.  Some of the production, especially on the earlier tunes, is sketchy.  Actually it's still a bit sketchy.

U17-19 Happy Song

This is a remix I made of a track my brother wrote.  Not bad work considering it was about ten years ago and written on Making Waves.  This version is truncated and fades out, the original file was longer but had an unrepairable glitch.  I lost the uncorrupted original file years ago.

R Cain Sanctuary

I wrote this song for my girlfriend, who, at the time, was in Finland and who I was travelling to see.  Hence, loosely, the title.  I thought I'd lost this track as part of a massive, multi-backup failure in about 2004.  Found this copy today.  Written on Making Waves and Cool Edit Pro in 2001.

Walking Man

An old track that started out as a demonstration of pitch-shifted delay for my mate Big Jon.  Then I realised that I actually really liked it.  Left it on Jon's computer and came back to find he'd finished it off in awesome style.  Teamwork.
