This was orginally a little holiday to go and see friends over on the Carabbean side, of Costa Rica, Pureto Viejo to be precise.. Though it turned out to be a mini DJ tour for me, where I was total loved & appreciated for what I have to offer. Such a beautiful amazing crowd who love to party and enjoyed the music I played, needless to say I had a wonderful time over there and will go back very soon.
This is the first recording from my mini tour, at an event called Psy-Dance.. This is the warmup set, so I start of with Progressive and build to Psytech.. Enjoy..!!

Well, another trip over to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica where I got to DJ at two more parties. I only recorded one of them, which is this one from the 8th March.. Enjoy..!

Aztek Live @ Techno Flavours 08-03

A challenging transition from 92 Bpm to 182 Bpm featuring tracks from KOAN Sound, Biome, Etherwood and others- a bit obscure ;), I made this one with my flowarts and fire family in mind- something we can flow to! They say you shouldn't really mix genres in a set, but I had a lot of fun merging the worlds of break beats, deep dubstep, trap and drum and bass with a hint of psy. In fact, it was my love of flow arts that got me into this mix of genres and really got me thinking "Damn, this is the kind of stuff I want to spin one day!" (shame I haven't quite figured out how to both spin fire and decks simultaneously. Maybe if I clone myself one day :D). 

I hope you'll enjoy listening to it as much as I loved creating it! Many sleepless nights thinking "how, just how can I transition to this song?", adamant to make my audio vision come to life. I'm still learning the ropes, but if you enjoy this, let me know if I should mix more of this style- I probably will anyway ;).
