Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @materielle_music for its ninetieth episode of Amplify Series.

Materielle, where music intertwines with the very essence of materiality. Based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, she emerges weaving threads of sound bringing inspiration from woven fabrics. 
Her project captures this essence, inviting listeners to explore the tactile beauty of the sonic world and embark on a sensory exploration of textures. Her releases “Satin” and “Organza” are only the start to her sonic tapestry woven with precision and passion, with her first EP slated for this summer on a North American techno label.

Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, she not only persevered but thrived, founding a groundbreaking label and cultivating a successful channel that showcased the talents of LA's rising artists. With an innate knack for curating cutting-edge sounds, Materielle's channel and label became essential platforms for emerging artists to showcase their talent. Her keen eye for talent and unwavering dedication to pushing boundaries made her a respected figure in the industry.

Materielle has shared the stage with Daria Kolosova, Ryan Elliott, Lindsey Herbert and more.

Bio:
Project 313, comprised of Chad Parraghi and Nick Bien, are iconic Detroit Techno artists and co-founders of their label Blank Code Records. Their visionary approach reshaped the Detroit techno landscape, evident in their imprint's diverse roster and iconic event series SCENE at the legendary Works nightclub and their current series SECTOR at the Leland City Club. They've also contributed to labels like D Records, System, Illegal Aliens Records, Northern Parallels, and Detroit Underground, expanding the genre's boundaries. Their enduring legacy as cultural ambassadors and innovators continues to inspire electronic music enthusiasts worldwide.

A self-confessed Noisician, Paula Temple obliterated 2014 with ‘Deathvox’, her second monumental release for the legendary label R&S. Her debut ‘Colonized’ EP made one of biggest statements in 2013 for uncompromising techno, followed by remixes for avant-electronic acts The Knife, Perera Elsewhere and Planningtorock. Such refreshing high-voltage output has rapidly placed Paula Temple at the forefront of new techno.

Her performances in Detroit for the Movement festival were some of the most memorable of the weekend and are still being talked about by those lucky enough to witness them. She has graciously provided an hour(ish) of her set from the Underground stage at Movement 2015 for this episode of SUBterror Radio. Prepare for facemelting.

YYYY is an anonymous Techno duo based on Buenos Aires active since 2013. Their eclectic sound spreads through Techno, Industrial, Atmospheric, Dub and Drone. Their performances in both live and hybrid format are known to be forceful and introspective, going from aggressive to deeply emotional and back again. Merging ancient mysticism with avant experimental techno, they released music on labels like Weekend Circuit, Aine (PoleGroup), Planet Rhythm, Evod, and Injected Poison.
