Tiësto, recently named "Greatest DJ of All-Time" by Mixmag, combines forces with fellow Dutchman and fast rising star, Hardwell.  Their collaboration here on "Zero 76" is a monumental production, fusing each artists' style to create an early contender for tune of 2011.

Tiësto and Hardwell both hail from Breda, Netherlands and the title Zero 76 is a nod to their home town's area code.  Hardwell explains, "Being born and raised in Breda, Tiësto's hometown, I always felt a certain pride when others mentioned his name.  When meeting him for the first time, last year in Ibiza, we had an instant click that lead to this cooperation."

 

As if their country couldn't be any more proud of them, this co-production is as big as it gets.   After making the rounds at festivals around the globe and garnering massive, organic hype on youtube Zero 76 is finally poised for mass release. An exclusive preview of my cover version of 'Hold That Sucker Down' taken from my Trance Mission album which will be available for pre-order on May 19th and released on June 20th.

The album will feature 12 cover versions of some my all time favourite trance records and it will be available in double CD and digital format.

"Originally released in 1994 on Cheeky Records – “Hold That Sucker Down” by The OT Quartet (Rollo from Faithless and Rob D) was a massive chart hit worldwide. The riff is definitely one of the most instantly recognizable melody progressions in the history of electronic music. I used to play this relentlessly – not only back in the day when it first came out but again and again over the years when various decent remixes have emerged. Covering the record I wanted to do something totally different so decided to take a deeper spacey techno vibe. This version is on the Trance Mission album and there’s a killer trance remix from Johnny Yono on CD2 (a bonus CD of exclusive remixes) and we are preparing a massive line up of remixes for the single release – out in September on Perfecto."

Azure State is a Utrecht-born Dutch composer and electronic music producer. His musical journey began in 2007. Azure State is making a name for himself with a lineage of driving bass lines and his signature magical pads.

In August 2021, Azure State started his own music label Gaia-X Music and released several progressive and uplifting trance music. Azure State remixed several trance tracks, like Armin van Buuren Communication and Rank 1 Airwave. Also he remixed the main theme from Interstellar movie composed by Hans Zimmer in a intensely uplifting trance style.

In July 2022, Azure State make his first steps in de techno scene. He recorded techno tracks in a continues sequence and make up an electronic story about his passion of the Universe. His goal is too take the listener on a journey into a modern style of techno and trance music.
