With a unique blend of ol’skool hiphop heavily influenced by trap, Khalil is ready to take Africa’s hiphop scene by storm.He has a good style of delivery both onstage and in the booth.His tracks come with a “made u think” type of captivating lyrics with a sidedish of stupid n fun.He writes his music from his experiences and dreams as a young African hip-hoper who is his main type of audience.

A well seasoned stage artist, khalil has shared a stage with artists including the adf family,steph kapella, and opened for the likes of Octopizzo and chronixx but to name a few. He has also performed in various campus shows and featured on pilipili fm and Home boys radio.

Born in Mombasa island (Kenya) to a lovely low-income christian family in 1995 Yvng Khalil discovered his prowess at playing with words while still in high school where he got the chance to freestyle onstage for various high school events and got to share a stage with Avril,Mejja,Naiboi and various local artists.He first released a mixtape [the struggle] which was home recorded.He moved to Nairobi for his studies in Architecture.Here he teamed up with fellow rapper Stone to release a 2nd mixtape [The unveiling] which gained him a pretty good following on his Facebook page and publications plus a number of already mentioned achievements.He still has an unfinished and unreleased mixtape of 6 tracks already done.Influenced by Lil Wayne,Jay z and J Cole,Khalil looks up to becoming a young successful African act and gets motivation from artists like Nasty C,Wizkid and Shane.
