Desolation (WIP)

I'm originally from Chicago but reside in Indianapolis. Been going to parties since '98. I've been spinning and collecting vinyl as a hobby since 1999. I learned to beat match on a pair of good old Gemini belt drive tables and the rest is raver history. I only spin vinyl, digital just not my thing. I have terrible stage fright anxiety, so over the years, I've only played at a few parties since 2001.
My black crack collection mostly consists of old skool Breaks (vocal/progressive/Miami), Electro, Liquid DnB, House, (old skool) Hard German Trance and "classic" trance, cause in "raver" years, I'm old...... Haha.

B-COMPLEX is an estabilished slovak DJ star. D&B project, that took the dnb scene by storm with her banger Beautiful Lies. Since it's release in 2008 on Hospital Records, Matia played all over Europe and over, performing for the crowds from London to Auckland. Following with various remixes and tunes like Rolling With The Punches or Three Dots she is now a stable part of dnb scene and represents modern sound of Slovakia. In 2015 Matia announced her transgender comingout, she promotes tolerance and freedom of selfexpression through her music and stance.

 Born and raised in Vancouver's rave scene, JRoy became engulfed by the sounds of Jungle and Drum and Bass. In his early twenties, he took his love for the music from the dance, to the decks.  Having played a wide array of different events, from house parties to renegade beach parties, he eventually got the opportunity to play at one of B.C.’s premier music festivals; Electric Love. There, he got the opportunity to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the game, fueling his ambition and inspiring him to go further.
 More recently, JRoy has began creating  Vancouver’s newest DnB company, 170+ Productions. The astounding rate of growth and success wouldn’t be possible without the wicked support from his Who Knew family, and of course his business partner and close friend, Aaron Payne.   
  JRoy's addition to the local community has been received as nothing less than an amazing and humble way to give back to the music that has made him the passionate and talented DJ that he is today.

KlumzyKhemist started making her name as a DJ in the United States, setting the vibe alight on the open decks stages of Vermont and her reputation for impactful mixes began to bubble. Whilst studying a Masters degree in Chemistry, KlumzyKhemist realised her mixing skills were best kept to the stage.

Since moving back to the UK in 2019, she has been non-stop on making her sound heard. Having truly smashed 2022, playing Boomtown Festival, Into The Woods Festival, Lindisfarne Festival, and West Ben Fest, on top of shows all across the UK, KlumzyKhemist remains experimental in her music tastes and true to her colours.

Well known for her energetic sets filled with chops and double drops, KlumzyKhemist focuses on surprising the crowd as much as possible. Taking inspiration from all genres of music, her style ranges from mixing Neurofunk Drum and Bass, to Dancefloor, Jungle, Footwork, and everything in between, believing in the importance of never sticking to one sound.

Klumzy in the lab, Khemist on the decks... KlumzyKhemist is one to watch.

EQ50 is a collective of women working towards fairer representation within drum and bass since 2018.
