Jan Werich is one of the great czech artists. We need people of this kind these days, when people seem to turn to hate, intolerance and radicals. I dared to sample his speech to spread his message once again. 

The words translated:

You know I didn't wear out many shoes on my way to the church, and my trousers are not worn above my knees from kneeling.
But I always believed in one thing, that the god made us equal, one is white, one black. One beautiful like you, and me.
Or dotted from the pox. But we are all cold when it's freezing out there, and we all sweat when the sun is scorching.
And we all need to breathe, so we don't suffocate. One day we'll be all driven away.. in other words, we are all mortal. And immortal. But for this, we can't make slaves from one another, because of this everyone should have the same opportunity to live a full life, nevermind if his father was a president or a tinker. Noone should ever think he is something more or better than others. Maybe he is smarter, maybe he wears better shirt. But this only commits him, to do something for those with worse shirt, or smaller biceps. 

The whole secret is in liking people.

But only people who like other people can believe in this. To like people and to love them, that is the whole secret and the only recipe for happiness, and that counts for everyone. 
Sometimes I think we did a big mistake when we left only poets and camp speakers to talk about freedom. Poets don't define things very clearly, and camp speakers even more so. We should let teachers speak about freedom. And we should teach them that freedom is not just a poetic call for wings. We should teach them the difference between the true freedom and anarchy. You don't really know how big thing it is, when you can write and teach what you believe in.

People only value things fully, when they loose them for a while. It's the same with freedom as anything else. 
To like people, and to love them, that is the whole secret, and the only recipe for happiness.

He fled without words from his workplace, the other labourers around glancing quickly up at their fellow tearing across the derelict site of their toil. Ducking between the scaffolds, his hands clawing wretchedly at his heavy form, as his insides churned and wave after wave of pure violence washed through him. He found the entrance, gasping with relief and pain, before dropping swiftly into the cave beneath the foundation and falling starkly into the dim blackness of the tunnels below. Writhing on the cold stone ground, he felt it ripping through his back and up the side of his face, his eyes glazing then filling with the fire of a pure primal energy as he arched his head back and let out a tearing sound of unleashed psychic tearing and the breaking of his mind. It had him in its grasp, claws ripping through his hands – its presence overtaking him and unveiling his true SHAPESHIFTER nature.

AKOV follows up his recent initial foray on the label with a solid step into the EATBRAIN fold in the form of the SHAPESHIFTER EP. Comprising 4 tracks of exquisitely dynamic neurofunk and experimental beats that dares to dive between tempos and deliver an entirely fresh take on the genre. From the outset with title track SHAPESHIFTER, a curve ball hits swift, as a straight intro leads into a drop that stretches reality and deviates between spacious reese action and busy percussion, before heavily reglitching itself into a deliciously wonky form. ABRAXAS leads a more epic path with a shimmering, beautiful intro infused with ethnic aesthetics that gives way to an entirely punishing machinegun drop that only pauses to reload and issue a heavy staccato bass cannon. With GAMES WITH GOD featuring THE CLAMPS, the metallic nature of the drums edges up a notch and the vibe leans toward a more sinister but rolling edge. FIRST CONTACT turns the tempo way down to 128 but elevates the attitude to a new level, delivering a chugging and brutish stepper of a tune that carries its neuro core effectively to the vein.

The range of ideas within the Shapeshifter EP serves as a technical breath of fresh air to a genre that’s build on the concept of progression and experimentation. Akov delivers the manifesto of an artist intent on pushing the sound further, delivered on a label at the forefront of futuristic d&b.

B-COMPLEX is an estabilished slovak DJ star. D&B project, that took the dnb scene by storm with her banger Beautiful Lies. Since it's release in 2008 on Hospital Records, Matia played all over Europe and over, performing for the crowds from London to Auckland. Following with various remixes and tunes like Rolling With The Punches or Three Dots she is now a stable part of dnb scene and represents modern sound of Slovakia. In 2015 Matia announced her transgender comingout, she promotes tolerance and freedom of selfexpression through her music and stance.
