My new song means a lot to me.
 
For years, people have identified me as a depressive person. I have struggled for most of my life with Suicidal tendencies and self destruction... I've also achieved more than I ever believed possible. Still, I struggle. 

At face value, this song may appear to glorify or manifest a certain action, but in reality this song is meant to do what so many songs have done for me, and allow me and others like me to feel seen and accept themselves as human. We are not fucked up or a lost cause because we exist within the darkness. Sometimes we carry a burden others can't see or comprehend, and no amount of material wealth, or progress, will lighten that load. This song is not meant to glorify or enable anybody or anything. It is, simply, a beacon for those who relate to it, to see what spiritual and emotional growth is still possible, at any age. At any position in life. Healing is ALWAYS possible... but being 'healed' isn't. You can't buy, sell, or achieve yourself into wholeness... you are already whole. 

I used to hear a tale of moths, and how they gave up their color to give color to the world. I relate this song to that. I am dark, because not everyone is capable of carrying their own darkness. I will carry it for them. I will always express the darker parts of my life, because it is important to know when to let go and do it responsibly. Music is God. If I was made this way, my music will be a reflection of my self. 

That being said: I hope you enjoy the song and if you relate to it, at all, I hope you grow from the trauma that you relate to. Reach out and stay alive. The universe needs every single one of you.
