So, devastatingly the world lost a true South Los Angeles warrior, legend, community activist, and real Hip-Hop legend. Los Angeles and the world and the Hip-Hop community will not be the same without this man. This man has had a big impact on my life. Here is why: I was bullied tremendously as a child living in South Central Los Angeles during 7th and 8th grade. I lived in Leimert Park. I was bullied daily being called gay and a faggot because of the way I dressed like Jimmy Neutron. I was a nerd and timid and weak, But the U.S. Navy and life experiences made me the self made, tougher, Blacc man I am today. I am a college grad. and U.S. Navy mentally disabled Navy Veteran. I am honest to myself first. God helped me. And Nipsey's music has helped me get through tough times. He is a real rapper from him demonstrating realism and motivation and life experiences he endured as a Crip coming from South Central Los Angeles. I can relate because I lived in South Central L.A. as well. Not only that, he gave bacc to his own hood, Slauson and Crenshaw. Wacc and dumb as fucc he died in front of his own store. I am Catholic though. Jesus is the final judge. And Jesus will come bacc. I believe Nip will get resurrected when Jesus comes bacc on Judgement Day. For now, I know he is happier in Heaven. The killer will suffer tremendously in jail. This is one of my fav. songs by him. I had to screw and chop this in his memory, and to influence his legacy. I hope people will go on change.org to sign a petition for Slauson to be renamed to Nipsey Hussle Way. And buy his merchandise and motivate other people to continue the Marathon!
