You don't just "get over" shit! 
I bet you wish you could just wake up and not have to think about anything that fucked you up the day before.
I bet there's 1000 things you wish you could just forget and carry on with your ignorant life, but we all know that it doesn't work like that, and we all know what it's like to be haunted. 
The spirit of destruction has been my most persistent stalker, feel like I destroy everything I touch. Sometimes they're already broken and some say it's not my fault. Either way I always blame myself. Losing sleep for no good cause. 
They say everyone is put in your life for one of two reasons: to fuck you, or to fuck you up... sometimes both.
I been burdened with a lot of shit I don't need. Shit I can't escape, shit i didn't ask for and even more shit I dive into head first, self destruction at it's finest and I couldn't tell you why. I've been watching myself fall apart in silence. 
When the monsters under my bed showed their faces I was less afraid than I thought I would be, but that doesn't mean I wasn't scared... I'm always scared. 
Terrified I'll trail off so far away from what I originally thought I was that I'll look in the mirror and have no face, no eyes, no soul...
And just become one of them.
