Hengello's music has been described by some as “ high music”. Hengello, on the other hand stats; “it’s just music that relaxes“. “I enjoy working with other artist because it sparks my musical intellect. A lot of artists say they are “THE ONE”, however with me, the proof is in the way I work with other artists, I make them excited to create and complete the tracks.” 

Hengello does not label himself as a rapper, rather a musical artist. “I think labeling myself as a rapper is boxing myself in".

Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Nu Element entered the local hip 
hop scene at the age of 15.  For the majority of his teenage years, he spent his 
time in his room studying everything from Hip Hop itself to legendary producers 
such as DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, and J Dilla.  Making beats and perfecting his 
craft, Nu Element built a foundation and started to become the city's 
go-to-producer. Through the same passion for Hip Hop, Nu Element created a 
dynamic duo with co-producer/rapper SleepQuil, where he grew into his name and 
began to define it. Being of a Hip Hop soul  and student, Nu took to writing to 
bring a vision to his beats. From local shows, a expanding network and growing 
fan-base encouraged Nu to begin on his debut mixtape. The upcoming mixtape 
titled "Deja Nu" , which is set to drop for an early 2014 release, has everyone 
awaiting the unveiling of the growth and development of Massachusetts' young 
prodigy.
