Baltimore city native Carlsin is a music producer and multi-instrumentalist with Influences such as Pretty Lights, Griz, Big Gigantic, and Manic Focus. Carlsin blends punchy drum beats, bumpin’ basslines, meticulously selected samples, soulful saxophone melodies, funky guitar licks, energetic piano arrangements and synth leads that tear through the mix.
 
Carlsin's music can be described as a mash up of many different musical genres such as hip hop, dubstep, house, drum & bass, glitch hop, future bass, disco, jazz, blues, funk, soul and r&b. With songs that range from mellow jazzy numbers to intense dance floor bangers and everything in between.

Carlsin's live shows are ever evolving and incorporating new elements that go beyond a typical DJ performance. Whenever possible, Carlsin's shows feature live acoustic drums by experienced percussionist Kris Walsh.
