The Window Seat is a band that has booked its own musical tickets; sounds influenced by afrobeat, funk, and jazz with an altogether melodic and improvisational outlook make this band unique. The focus is on playing for the music.

Lindsay D’Mello is an accomplished and versatile drummer performing music almost every other day; a big fan of collective communication, writing great tunes and playing with a dedicated attitude. Credits include The Petri Dish Project, Bliss Logic, Groove Suppa, Bombay Black and the GG’s.

Saxophonist and keyboardist, Tala Faral is truly a gifted ‘world’ player. His experience in jazz and funk idioms has shaped many a band’s sound. He strives for complete expression with a focus on melody. Credits include Sarimanouk in Indonesia, Potomac Jazz Quartet in D.C, and Groove Suppa in Mumbai.

Bassplayer Sonu Sangameswaran has 
been playing electric bass for over a decade. His experience spans the sounds of progressive rock, latin, hip-hop, funk and african music integrated with an original sense of groove. Credits include Vivek Rajagopalan Quartet, Anal Funk, Smoke Signals and Parallel Reality.
