Techdubsoultronicfuturisticdancehop is the only way to describe the mesmeric musical potions of Ramon "Ramgoat" Wakefield. He is a musical chemist; concocting beats as a producer and experimenting with their reactive characteristics as a performing artist with his band, Peekaboo Theory. His laboratory varies; one day he is locked away in the MaddGab studio composing musical Monets; the next, he's likely to be found rocking stages coast to coast with Peekaboo Theory, garnering media honors and leaving fans salivating for the next gig.

What began as a pastime, listening to and learning to play music as a child in Kingston, Jamaica and Houston, Texas, turned into a fascination. Like all great artists, that fascination soon morphed into a passion; and that passion was honed into a skill. Today, Ramgoat's undeniable flair for his craft, along with an impressive work ethic, has quickly gained him fans and respect on his native soil and beyond. 

A gifted musician's musician, Ramgoat has mastered nearly 10 different musical instruments and his studio expertise has been sought out for numerous projects by artists on the local and national levels. His first solo album is complete (release date pending). It is an instrumental offering showcasing his abilities, entitled Fundumbmentally Instrumental. The project features his unique form of unconventional sound design, experimenting outside of the traditional recording environment. The result is nothing short of an existential masterpiece.

Ramgoat's production style provides for the unique; from obscure underground soundscapes and funk-laced hip-hop beats, to rugged dancehall rhythms and feature film scores. This consistently solid, yet refreshingly diverse musical portfolio has secured his standing as one of the most hard-working and respected producers of his time, bringing musical enlightenment to the masses via audio engagement.

Whether on the stage with Peekaboo Theory or in his production element generating smooth, sample-laden beats, Ramgoat puts the same amount of verve and finesse into his craft and seamlessly executes the roles of both producer and performer.
