Kwiri la mamani is the title track for Roberto Chitsonzo forthcoming and first solo album which means the womb of a mother,  Roberto is a folk artist from Mozambique but mostly known for his work as the vocalist of Ghorwane one of Mozambique most emblematic groups named by Samora Machel Mozambique's first president in the early 80's as the "Bons rapazes" which means the "GOOD KIDS", since then Roberto has been working has a teacher, member of parliament and performing to full house venue, for this forthcoming album in association with Khuzula Editora the public can expect one of the best folk albums to come out of Mozambique, with amazing collaboration such as Mozambique's favorite jazz guitarist Jimi Dludlu and many  more.

Fields Without Fences is a full-length journey, offering Oliver's trademark melodic sound, with intricately interwoven drums and emotionally enrapturing melodies. 2014 saw Steyoyoke Recordings put the finishing touches to their artist roster and the label is now experiencing an ongoing creative continuum, bringing Steyoyoke to its current state of musical solidarity. ‘Family Affair Vol.04’ is a testament to this, as it provokes new inspiring ways for the artists to inspire and influence each other. Split across two separate releases, Part 1 and Part 2, “Family Affair Vol.04’ comprises of 9 remixes, which sees all the Steyoyoke artists adding their own personal flavours to some of 2014’s biggest tracks.

Part 2.
Aki Bergen extends his skills to bring you the first track of Part 2. He remixes Soul Button’s ‘Swift Minds’ and delivers a rigorous yet minimal interpretation, that is unwavering and carries a strong hypnotic undertone. 
Track 2 is from Animal Picnic, with their remix of Ran Salman’s ‘Fractured Memories’. The duo embellished it with stunning key changes and a haunting breakdown, indulging you with great passion and warmth.
MPathy puts his spin on things with a remix of Animal Picnic & Aaryon’s ‘Kymera’. He keeps things simple and stripes it back, emphasising the tracks more percussive components. MPathy also elects to remove the vocals present in the original.
The final track is from BLANCAh, with her rendition of Aki Bergen’s ‘Serpentine’. Sticking to the originals essence and vibe, this remix is infatuating and intoxicating. It amplifies elegant beauty and coaxes plenty of good vibes.

DJ BIO (B-Trax)

This young talent has been Djing for over 10 years now and it all started as a school child learning from his fellow DJ brothers, Rays Da Funk & DJ Seebz. He pursued Djing because he loves music and focuses on delivering the people of today the best music around and to get everyone to become a part of the love for music. Since learning how to DJ his thoughts and views for music have just expanded from one level to the next. His passion for DJing goes further than just playing the scene; he loves what he does and strives to be the best with every set that he plays. This young talent has been putting his name out there by taking part in competitions, and playing events with every opportunity that is thrown his way. He recently won “Who’s that DJ” at Recess and took part in “shut up and Jack”. As a DJ he is able to turn any dance floor upside down with his unique skill to tear those decks apart while mixing driving music that gets the people going. Now he looks to achieve the honour of playing at events such as H2o and at Truth. In the past year he has been able to secure himself with a few residencies at clubs such as Club Tennessee, The Sunday Social and RAD Nightclub. Without a doubt Brandon B-Trax is going to make it big and become one of ‘the legends’, and a role model for up and coming DJ’s on the scene. His talent is inspiring and unique, and it goes to show that if you don’t have passion for music you will never make it! Since then he has taken on the challenge of doing production and has already released some of his production and is available on beatport.
